Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 19, 2026
SmartWick runs entirely on your Mac. It has no servers, makes no network connections, and contains no analytics, tracking, advertising, or accounts. Nothing about you, your calendar, or your activity ever leaves your device.
Information we collect
None. We do not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal information. There is no sign-up and no user account.
On-device permissions
SmartWick may ask for a few macOS permissions. Each is optional, is used only on your Mac, and the data never leaves your device:
- Calendar — read your events locally so SmartWick can keep your Mac awake for the length of a meeting. Event data is read in the moment and is never stored or transmitted.
- Notifications — deliver optional “smart nudge” suggestions when a keep-awake moment fits. No notification content is sent anywhere.
- Open at Login — start SmartWick when you sign in, if you enable it.
What SmartWick stores
Your preferences and anything SmartWick “learns” about your routine are saved locally in the app’s settings on your Mac and are never uploaded. Removing the app removes this data.
Third parties & children
SmartWick uses no third-party SDKs, services, or trackers. Because it collects no data from anyone, it is safe for users of all ages.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date.
